Kim's 38th Pasta (Fettuccine with Bacon, Onions, and Peas)


2lbs linguine fini

2 sticks butter

1 onion, chopped

1 lb uncured smoked pork bacon ends, chopped

1 10oz bag frozen peas

4 cups heavy cream

1 8oz bag shredded parmesan cheese




Boil water and cook pasta sauté onions and bacon together until bacon is cooked through and onions are tender. Add peas, salt and pepper. Cook for a few minutes until peas are tender. Add butter-let melt. Add cream and cheese and stir until everything comes together nicely. Drain pasta when al dente. Put pasta back into pot and pour cream mixture over pasta and mix well using tongs. Cook on low for 1 or 2 minutes to make everything marry beautifully, being careful not to burn. Serve immediately.
